Newsletter „News from the Atlantic sand landscapes“
The newly created newsletter that provides the latest information about the LIFE Integrated Project “Atlantic Region DE” is now available – even though only in German – for download in the service section. In this first issue, we shortly present the LIFE IP amongst other things.

Second annual meeting of the Project Steering Group
The Project Steering Group (PSG) – to which all people who are responsible for the implementation of the LIFE IP belong – has a key role for the project execution. The PSG makes significant decisions regarding the general direction of the project.

First monitoring visit of the EU Commission
During the first monitoring visit on 26th and 27th April, the LIFE IP team had the chance to present the Project, the current status of implementation and the schedule for the proposed measures to representatives of the EU Commission.

With a launch event on 20th April 2017 for all cooperating institutions and organisations of the LIFE IP as well as interested experts, the official kick-off was given in Ibbenbüren.

LIFE IP team attends the "LIFE15 Integrated Projects PLATFORM" meeting in Finland
From 7th until 9th February 2017, the first meeting of the LIFE Integrated Projects Platform took place in Helsinki, Lohja and selected places at the Karjaanjoki River in Finland.
