ENTIRE PROJECT AREA
Preparatory actions

Within the scope of the LIFE IP “Atlantic region DE”, six preparatory actions will be implemented. In North Rhine-Westphalia. Amongst others, a master plan for three protected areas is to be developed. In Lower Saxony, surveys for the natterjack toad, the common spadefoot, the smooth snake and the sand lizard will be conducted. (...)

Actions in the first phase

Within the scope of the LIFE IP “Atlantic region DE” ten species and 15 habitat types which are protected under the Habitats Directive are in the focus of the implementation measures. In phase 1 of the Project 98 measures are planned to be implemented, 26 of which are located in North Rhine-Westphalia. The remaining 72 measures will be implemented in Lower Saxony. (...)
