Second annual meeting of the Project Steering Group
The Project Steering Group (PSG) – to which all people who are responsible for the implementation of the LIFE IP belong – has a key role for the project execution. This committee with all additional and non-additional personnel of the Project as well as the relevant permanent staff of the beneficiaries (the Ministry for Environment, Agriculture, Conservation and Consumer Protection of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (MULNV) and the Ministry of Environment of Lower Saxony (MU)), the specialist agencies (the State Agency for Nature, Environment and Consumer Protection (LANUV) in North Rhine-Westphalia and the Lower Saxony Water Management, Coastal Defence and Nature Conservation Agency (NLWKN)) and the District Government of Münster will meet at least twice a year. The PSG makes significant decisions regarding the general direction of the project during its course, evaluates the progress and discusses and develops eventual adaptations on technical or political level.
The second PSG meeting of this year took place at the NLWKN in Hanover. Besides short reports from both federal states several practical aspects like internal and external communication as well as the planning of further conceptual measures appeared on the agenda.
