LIFE Nature Integrated Projects meet up
No fewer than 80 project coordinators and experts from European nature projects signed up for a three-day meeting in the spirit of knowledge exchange. All these nature projects have one common denominator: Integrated Projects from the European LIFE programme. The aim of this programme is to support the realisation of Natura 2000.

From 17th to 18th October 2019, the Bavarian Academy for Nature Conservation and Landscape Management organized the specialist symposium "NATURA 2000 in Germany – impulses for communication, monitoring and implementation" in Laufen an der Salzach.

Session of the LIFE IP ‚Atlantic Region DE‘ in the framework of the Annual Meeting of the Ecological Society of Germany, Austria and Switzerland
From September 09 to 13, 2019, the 49th Annual Meeting of the Ecological Society of Germany, Austria and Switzerland will be held in Münster, Germany. This scientific conference is held under the motto ‘Science meets practice’ and aims to stimulate exchange between the academic ecological community and practitioners in order to find applied solutions to environmental problems.

Natura 2000 – Third Atlantic Biogeographic Seminar in Antwerp
From the 12th to the 14th of June, the third biogeographic seminar of the Atlantic region was held in Antwerp. The seminar took place under lively international participation, amongst them Tim-Martin Wertebach (LANUV NRW) as representative of the LIFE IP ‘Atlantic Region DE’.

LIFE IP ‘Atlantic Region DE’ receives award from the United Nations Decade on Biodiversity
The LIFE Integrated Project (LIFE IP) ‘Atlantic Region DE’ has been officially recognized by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) as ‘Project of the United Nations Decade on Biodiversity’.
