LIFE Projects and stakeholders visited the LIFE IP
On 7th and 8th September, the LIFE IP Atlantic Region DE hosted the ‘LIFE NRW Meeting’ in and around Münster. The meeting which is usually held annually offers the options for exchange to all running and planned LIFE projects in North Rhine-Westphalia and the stakeholders linked to the European Union's LIFE programme.

In the best summer weather, State Secretary Frank Doods paid a visit to the LIFE Integrated Project Atlantic Region DE in Lower Saxony on 22 July 2021 to get himself informed of the project.

Interview with LIFE IP Project Manager in the context of Solingen’s "Long Day of City Nature"
On 3 June, the City of Solingen organised the "Long Day of CityNature" for the second time. Due to the Corona pandemic, the programme this year was deliberately conducted in a digital format. Thus, interviews on various topics related to nature conservation and urban nature were filmed in advance. In the interview "Clearings for nature conservation – how does that work?", for example, the nature conservation measures in the Ohligser Heide within the framework of LIFE IP were discussed.
